With a history as clinical assistant, dental office business administrator, crown and bridge lab owner, and practice advisor, as well as experience as a trained mediator and arbitrator, Deb has accomplished much in the world of dentistry. In 1998, during her tenure as a practice consultant in Phoenix, Deb created the prototype that is currently a national franchise system with numerous locations in operation throughout the country. Deb’s ongoing mentoring of her placement agents, while also assisting private practices with team related issues has established her as a recognized expert in this valuable specialty.

Dental Team Calibration
Purpose & Application
Utilize the SELF© Profile with your current team to better understand each employee’s unique behavior patterns, in order to adjust roles and responsibilities. You might have diamonds in the rough under your roof and not even know it!
- INTRODUCTION
- Half hour Zoom session with an overview of how this works and how it will benefit the group. This and Q&A can be accomplished during a lunch break or after work hours.
- ASSESSMENT
- Each team member will recieve instructions for taking the SELF© Profile Assessment (via email), which takes less than 5 minutes to complete. I impose timeframes based on individual availability. Every step is important to me, as I begin to observe how each team member approaches the project.
- RESULTS
- Once all assessments are completed, I connect with you, the dentist(s), to share my findings and offer suggestions. This detail is clearly shared with the team, and I let them know that our next time together I will deliver my suggestions to everyone.
- MOVING FORWARD
- We schedule an onsite visit (if location permits) or a Zoom session for those using the program remotely. There is total transparency, and all team members will require full permission to move forward prior to starting the project.

- Administering the SELF© Profile for potential new hires can be addressed at various points. It’s important for me to understand your hiring process in order to offer my suggestions as to when the assessment would be appropriate.
- ASSESSMENT
- This would be a segment of your hiring process introduced to your job seekers early in your relationship.
- RESULTS
- Online assessment, with a 15-minute phone call to the applicant so that I have a better idea if they are aligning with the results.
- MOVING FORWARD
- Periodic follow-ups over time are recommended to ensure that your new hire integrates well with your practice.
